The Apr 2023 monthly themed exhibition is The Bays Hidden Gems.

Please come and view the exhibition from Apr 14 , 2023 through May 5, 2023 at Hervey Bay Art Society’s “Gallery 5” Art Gallery, at 5 Sandy St Urangan. Gallery 5 is open daily and entry is free.

This exhibition is in addition to a rotating collection of other art exhibitions always on display. All these exhibitions feature well priced pieces that would make great acquisitions or gifts.

The next monthly members competition is Still Life of People-made things which will be held from May 5, 2023 through Jun 2, 2023.

Results

Results were announced at the awards presentation on Friday Apr 21, 2023 at noon in the foyer of Gallery 5. The judges for this competition were Mark Brose and Janine Hunt.

Key Dates

Delivery of Paintings: Friday Apr 14, 2023 between 9:00 am and 10:30 am. Entry fee is $5.00 per painting entered.

Presentation & BBQ: Friday Apr 21, 2023 12:00 noon. Presentation is held at 12 noon in main Gallery 5 reception area and is followed by a BBQ in the back courtyard of Gallery 5.

Exhibition of Paintings: From Friday Apr 21, 2023 (afternoon) through May 5, 2023.

Collection of Paintings: Friday May 5, 2023 between 9:00 am and 10:30 am.
