Pauline Adair is the judge for the 37th Annual Regional Competitive Art Exhibition (2021).
We are fortunate that while in Hervey Bay for this event she will be conducting a one day workshop on Sunday July 4, 2021 at Gallery 5.
This workshop, by such a talented and experienced artist and tutor as Pauline, is not to be missed.

Robin Hines will be holding a series of watercolour workshops over 8 weeks on Monday afternoons (12:30-3:30pm).
There are positions for up to ten participants for this series of workshops that begins the 17th of May 2021. These workshops are suitable for intermediate watercolour artists or artists of other media who wish to learn about watercolours.

There are 2 vacancies currently open for Paul Barnes’ workshops resuming on Tuesday 20/04/21.

This competitive art exhibition is an open competition and always attracts excellent artists, both from the Fraser Coast and beyond.

Esteemed local artist, Paul Barnes has kindly offered his services this year in the form of a weekly workshop. Paul would like to see who is interested and available on Tuesday afternoons. His workshops have been well received and are very informative. If you are interested in attending please contact him ASAP. We would love to start these workshops soon.

For all artwork that has been approved for display by the committee for the 50th Anniversary Special Exhibition the artworks need to be delivered at Gallery 5 either on Friday 8 Jan 2021 between 9:00 am and 11:00 am or Friday 22 Jan 2021 between 9:00 am and 11:00 am.

February sees the Hervey Bay Art Society celebrate its 50th Anniversary. The Hervey Bay Art Society will be displaying a range of works during this month and we need your help to make it a success. We require past artworks to make the display the best it can be. Please contact Mark Brose with the following:

The art society is very appreciative to the member artists who have allowed their work to be displayed online.
Gallery 5 Duty Roster is now available for members to check their volunteer sessions.

Regular weekly workshops will not be held during the end of year break 19/12/2020 to 3/1/2021.
Members are still encouraged to come in and do social painting during this period to keep the gallery open – no fees will be charged during this period.
