• Meg Ryan – Members Roster Co-ordinator –
  Our new HBAS Volunteer Co-ordinator Meg Ryan moved to the Hervey Bay Area in March 2022 – after most of her life living & working in Victoria!!   In April she purchased a house in Scarness  where she and her partner Peter Killey are very happy.
  
  Meg has thoroughly enjoyed a long & wonderful career in Nursing – working in both rural Victoria and Metropolitan Melbourne – much of her career was in management roles such as Director of Nursing. 
  
  Meg has studied quite extensively and was proud of achieving MHA (Master of Health Administration) from the UNSW – her last studies were in Palliative Care – she also finished her working life at Cabrini Palliative Care as a Co-ordinator.
  
  Meg is a life member of The Australian Nurses Memorial in Melbourne and is Fellow of The Australian College of Nursing. Meg has a wonderful large network of treasured friends from around the World. They manage to keep in touch pretty regularly & they really love to catch up in person.
  
  During her retirement Meg has been able to pursue her love of art by stepping as a novice into the HBAS – she is hoping to improve her skills & confidence!! In Hervey Bay Meg also attends a craft group weekly (somewhat of a masquerder) however she enjoys & values the camaraderie of the ten other women, and she has made her first ever quilt!
