Gallery 5 – Hervey Bay Art Society is pleased to announce that commencing in January 18th 2024, the Life Drawing group will be continuing on a sessional, fortnightly basis.  This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone,  whether you are an experienced life drawing artist or an interested beginner, wishing to improve your skills. 

Being that this is the only life drawing group in Hervey Bay,  we are keen to maintain the group and continue to grow attendance.  We need the numbers to increase to ensure that this wonderful experience is available.  Commencing in January, the cost will be $7.00 per session for members and $15.00 per session for non-members.   

The convenor, Katherine Walsh, provides a brief tutorial prior to each session, allowing attendees to broaden their knowledge and understanding and explore a variety of techniques.  She will also mentor individuals as requested. Katherine is a graduate of the Art Centre, College of Design  in Pasadena,  California and has vast experience in illustration and fashion design.  She has a passion for drawing the human form and enjoys helping others to develop.
