A month of celebration of our cultures through the arts.

Celebrating Reconciliation and NAIDOC through the theme of “Walking Side by Side” together.

This theme celebrates the people, the environment, the land, the waters, the animals of the place where we live, work and spend family time.

During the month of May, we had our annual art exhibition showcasing works telling the story of the theme of “Walking Side by Side”‘, storytelling, weaving workshops and yarning circles.

Our opening day – Saturday 3rd May, 2025 at 12noon, was well attended by many in the local community. With a Welcome to Country by Aunty Francis, live music by Teresa Wagstaff and delicious food created by our lovely catering team, the afternoon was amazing. The works of art as always were astounding with many sold in the first couple of days. With activities and workshops through the month including weaving with Carol Perrinjaquet and yarning circles, a lot was shared and learned. We’d like to thank all who supported this exhibition.
