For most of the year at Gallery 5, members have a selection of their works of art displayed in the back portion of the gallery, in the ‘General Exhibition’ section.
Each general hanging lasts about 4 weeks when the entire general exhibition is replaced with new paintings. The current General Exhibition is being held from Friday 30, November 2023 to Friday 5 January 2024.
There are generally more than 50 paintings on display from many talented local artists. The exhibition is well worth a look and the artworks are very good value for money. If you have a friend or family member who likes fine art, there are many beautiful pieces available that would make great gifts.
This is in addition to a rotating collection of other art exhibitions always on display. All these exhibitions feature well priced pieces that would make great acquisitions or gifts.
