Linda Moir Art – Whiskers to Wildlife Academy

Originally from Scotland, I am a Pet & Wildlife artist and mainly focus on the mediums of pastel and graphite.

I did not start drawing until later in life and for a very long time, I believed I could not draw at all. That all changed when I finally plucked up the courage to give it a go back in 2022.
This was also around the time I became a member of the Hervey Bay Art Society. Joining gave me confidence and support and marked the beginning of my commitment to show my work publicly.

I am also passionate about helping others explore their creative potential, so I founded the Whiskers to Wildlife Academy, an online membership where I teach beginners how to draw the animals they love.

Many of my students join without any belief in their drawing skills, and I find great satisfaction in helping them build their confidence and discover their own artistic voice.

My work is firmly rooted in my love for animals and I belief that creativity is for everyone.
