I am a Hervey Bay based, self-taught artist whose creative journey has evolved over many years.
While art was always a quiet presence in my life, it wasn’t until my retirement in 2023 that I was able to fully embrace it as both a passion and a source of joy.

My work is divided between two distinct styles. In acrylics, I enjoy creating colourful, textured pieces that are expressive and intuitive. In contract, my oil paintings focus on impressionist landscapes, where I explore mood, light and atmosphere.

Joining Gallery 5 in 2024 was a turning point for me. Volunteering there each week and attending Friday morning tutoring lessons and studying oils with Rolf Seiber has deepened my understanding of this medium and continues to shape my artistic growth. This has not only strengthened my confidence but also connected me with a supportive community of like-minded artists.

More recently, I have begun expanding my practice into functional art, creating lamps and vases that combine creativity with everyday use. Through all of my work, I aim to create pieces that bring colour, texture, and a sense of enjoyment into people’s lives.
