There are 2 vacancies currently open for Paul Barnes’ workshops resuming on Tuesday 20/04/21.
The first 2 members who register via email will be sent Paul’s “studio brief and illustrated study notes” in preparation.

37th Annual Regional Competitive Art Exhibition 2021 – Entry Forms Now Available

Entry forms are now available for the 37th Annual Regional Competitive Art Exhibition 2021.
This competitive art exhibition is an open competition and always attracts excellent artists, both from the Fraser Coast and beyond.
Artists please check out the competition details and get your entries forms in and your artworks painted.

Call for Expressions of Interest for a One-on-One weekly workshop with Paul Barnes
Esteemed local artist, Paul Barnes has kindly offered his services this year in the form of a weekly workshop. Paul would like to see who is interested and available on Tuesday afternoons. His workshops have been well received and are very informative. If you are interested in attending please contact him ASAP. We would love to start these workshops soon.

HBAS 50th Anniversary Special Exhibition – Delivery of Artwork
For all artwork that has been approved for display by the committee for the 50th Anniversary Special Exhibition the artworks need to be delivered at Gallery 5 either on Friday 8 Jan 2021 between 9:00 am and 11:00 am or Friday 22 Jan 2021 between 9:00 am and 11:00 am.

The 2021 monthly program, which details the Hervey Bay Art Society’s schedule of events for the coming year, is now available.
HBAS 50th Anniversary Event – Artwork Call-out
February sees the Hervey Bay Art Society celebrate its 50th Anniversary. The Hervey Bay Art Society will be displaying a range of works during this month and we need your help to make it a success. The art society is very appreciative to the member artists who have allowed their work to be displayed online.

End of Year Break 19/12/2020 to 3/1/2021
Regular weekly workshops will not be held during the end of year break 19/12/2020 to 3/1/2021.
Members are still encouraged to come in and do social painting during this period to keep the gallery open – no fees will be charged during this period.
