Acknowledgement of Grant for Pauline Adair Portrait Workshop from Fraser Coast Regional Council Rapid Response Community Grant (2021)

In Nov 2021 The Hervey Bay Art Society received approval for a grant of just under $1,000 from the Fraser Coast Regional Council rapid Response Community Grant 2021/2022 Round 4 for assistance with the costs of running a ‘Portraits Drawing Techniques’ art workshop conducted by renowned artist and tutor Pauline Adair.

There was a great buzz of activity when thirteen artists were set challenges in quick figurative painting by Sunshine Coast artist Pauline Adair at her workshop held at Gallery 5 on Saturday Nov 27, 2021 . Pauline encouraged everyone to view an image, memorise and paint.

This workshop was of great benefit to those artists that attended which will contribute to increasing the artistic vibrancy of the Fraser Coast.
