This annual event is the premium Hervey Bay Art Society Member’s Exhibition of the year. Every year there are beautiful works of art on display.
The exhibition runs from Friday Oct 8, 2021 to Thursday Nov 11, 2021. Please come and view this exhibition at Gallery 5 when it is on – Gallery 5 is open daily and entry is free. All the paintings in this premium exhibition are available to purchase and would make great acquisitions or gifts. A work of fine art is forever.

The Awards Presentation – Sunday Oct 10, 2021 from 2:00pm
The Awards Presentation was held at Gallery 5 on Sunday Oct 10, 2021 at 2:00pm.
Hervey Bay Art Society President Mark Brose introduced the presentation and thanked all the volunteers, sponsors, judges, exhibition entrants and attendees, and also introduced and thanked our patron Fraser Coast Mayor George Seymour for supporting and attending the exhibition.
Hervey Bay Art Society Patron, Mayor George Seymour, gave a short speech thanking Hervey Bay Art Society for being a community where artists can thrive by helping each other and noted that the society added to the cultural vibrancy of the Fraser Coast. His attendance at this event, his encouraging words and the great support he has given to the Hervey Bay Art Society are greatly appreciated.
President Mark Brose, with assistance from Mayor George Seymour then presented the awards to the deserving winners.

Events like the annual members exhibition don’t just happen. Events take place because people work to make them happen. A big thank you to all the members of the Hervey Bay Art Society who volunteered to help run and organise the exhibition – especially Mark Brose, Rolf Sieber, Jacquie Boyle, Pauline Prouse, Janine Hunt, Ingrid Algie (and the rest of the installation team), Olivia Horak, Genevieve Neale, Tom Nott, Jeanette Lewis, Carol Perry & Jill Byrnes. Because of them the competition ran smoothly and the awards presentation and exhibition was a success.

Delivery of Paintings: Friday Oct 8, 2021 between 9:00 am and 10:30 am at Gallery 5.
Exhibition Opening/Presentation: Sunday Oct 10, 2021 1:30pm (presentations made 2:00 pm) at Gallery 5, 5 Sandy St Urangan.
For catering purposes numbers attending the opening need to be confirmed before Wednesday Oct 6, 2021. Currently 90 people can attend the Exhibition Opening although restrictions (covid related) may change. So please book a place at the Annual Members’ Exhibition Opening by emailing the art society at herveybayartsociety@bigpond.com before Wednesday Oct 6, 2021 if you wish to attend (date has passed).
Exhibition of Paintings: From Friday Oct 8, 2021 (afternoon) through Thursday Nov 11, 2021.
Collection of Paintings: Friday Nov 12, 2021 between 9:00 am and 10:30 am. Because the whole gallery display is being replaced it is requested that paintings be collected Thursday Nov 11, 2021 between 2:00pm and 3:00pm if possible. Initially advertised date and time of Friday Nov 12, 2021 between 9:00 am and 10:30 am can still be used if a Thursday pickup is not possible.
