The Sep 2022 monthly themed exhibition is Flowers & Gardens.

Please come and view the exhibition from Sep 9, 2022 through Oct 14, 2022 at Hervey Bay Art Society’s “Gallery 5” Art Gallery, at 5 Sandy St Urangan. Gallery 5 is open daily and entry is free.

This exhibition is in addition to a rotating collection of other art exhibitions always on display. All these exhibitions feature well priced pieces that would make great acquisitions or gifts.

The next monthly members competition is Miniatures & Small Paintings which will be held from Nov 18, 2022 through [TBA].

Results were announced at the awards presentation on Friday Sep 16, 2022 at noon in the foyer of Gallery 5. The judges for this competition were Kaye Higginson and Lynn Munn.

Key Dates

Delivery of Paintings: Friday Sep 9, 2022 between 9:00 am and 10:30 am. Entry fee is $5.00 per painting entered.

Presentation & BBQ: Friday Sep 16, 2022 12:00 noon. Presentation is held at 12 noon in main Gallery 5 reception area and is followed by a BBQ in the back courtyard of Gallery 5.

Exhibition of Paintings: From Friday Sep 9, 2022 (afternoon) through Thursday Oct 13, 2022.

Collection of Paintings: Friday Oct 14, 2022 between 9:00 am and 10:30 am. On Sep 22, 2022 the collection date was changed due to upcoming Annual Members’ Exhibition. The new collection time is Thursday Oct 13, 2022 between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
