The Sep 2021 monthly themed exhibition is Flowers & Gardens.

Please come and view the exhibition from Sep 3, 2021 through Oct 7, 2021 at Hervey Bay Art Society’s “Gallery 5” Art Gallery, at 5 Sandy St Urangan. Gallery 5 is open daily and entry is free.

Running concurrently with this exhibition is the Members General Exhibition and the Members 3D general exhibition. All these exhibitions feature well priced pieces that would make great acquisitions or gifts.

The next monthly members competition is Miniatures & Small Paintings which is held from Nov 12, 2021, after the 2021 Annual Members Exhibition which is held from Oct 8, 2021.

It is worth the trip to the gallery this month just to see Ann Beach’s flower still lifes which are sublime [editor’s note]. Key Dates

Delivery of Paintings: Friday Sep 3, 2021 between 9:00 am and 10:30 am. Entry fee is $5.00 per painting entered.

Presentation & BBQ: Friday Sep 10, 2021 12:00 noon. Presentation is held at 12 noon in main Gallery 5 reception area and is followed by a BBQ in the back courtyard of Gallery 5.

Exhibition of Paintings: From Friday Sep 3, 2021 (afternoon) through Thursday Oct 7, 2021.

Collection of Paintings: Friday Oct 8, 2021 between 9:00 am and 10:30 am.
