The May 2021 monthly themed exhibition is Still Life. A Still Life is an arrangement of inanimate objects grouped together in a manner to produce a pleasing composition.

Please come and view the exhibition from May 9, 2021 through Jun 3, 2021 at Hervey Bay Art Society’s “Gallery 5” Art Gallery, at 5 Sandy St Urangan. Gallery 5 is open daily and entry is free.

Running concurrently with this exhibition is the Members General Exhibition and the Members 3D general exhibition. All these exhibitions feature well priced pieces that would make great acquisitions or gifts.

The next monthly members competition is Abstractions which is held from Jun 4, 2021.

Key Dates

Delivery of Paintings: Friday May 7, 2021 between 9:00 am and 10:30 am. Entry fee is $5.00 per painting entered.

Presentation & BBQ: Friday May 14, 2021 12:00 noon. Presentation is held at 12 noon in main Gallery 5 reception area and is followed by a BBQ in the back courtyard of Gallery 5.

Exhibition of Paintings: From Friday May 7, 2021 (afternoon) through Thursday Jun 3, 2021.

Collection of Paintings: Friday Jun 4, 2021 between 9:00 am and 10:30 am.
