The Jan 2023 monthly themed exhibition is Marine Life.

Please come and view the exhibition from Jan 13, 2023 through Feb 10, 2023 at Hervey Bay Art Society’s “Gallery 5” Art Gallery, at 5 Sandy St Urangan. Gallery 5 is open daily and entry is free.

This exhibition is in addition to a rotating collection of other art exhibitions always on display. All these exhibitions feature well priced pieces that would make great acquisitions or gifts.

The next monthly members competition is Study of Light & Dark which will be held from Feb 10, 2023 through Mar 10, 2023.

Results

Results were announced at awards presentation on Friday Jan 20, 2023 at noon in the foyer of Gallery 5. The judges for this competition were Paul Neale and Lynn Munn.

Key Dates

Delivery of Paintings: Friday Jan 13, 2023 between 9:00 am and 10:30 am. Entry fee is $5.00 per painting entered.

Presentation & BBQ: Friday Jan 20, 2023 12:00 noon. Presentation is held at 12 noon in main Gallery 5 reception area and is followed by a BBQ in the back courtyard of Gallery 5.

Exhibition of Paintings: From Friday Jan 13, 2023 (afternoon) through Feb 10, 2023.

Collection of Paintings: Friday Feb 10, 2023 between 9:00 am and 10:30 am.
