The January 2021 monthly themed exhibition is Flora & Fauna. This category is run most years and is always popular with contributing artists and the visiting public.

The exhibition runs from the afternoon of Friday Jan 15 2021 to 11 Feb 2021.

Please come and view the exhibition at Hervey Bay Art Society’s “Gallery 5” Art Gallery, at 5 Sandy St Urangan. Gallery 5 is open daily and entry is free.

Running concurrently with this exhibition is the Members General Exhibition and the Members 3D general exhibition. All these exhibitions feature well priced pieces that would make a great acquisition or gift.

This exhibition will be followed by the Hervey Bay Art Society’s 50th Anniversary Special Exhibition. The next monthly members competition is Australian Landscapes which will be held from 12 Mar 2021.

The Awards presentation will be held on Friday 22/1/2021 at noon in the foyer of Gallery 5.

Key Dates

Delivery of Paintings: Friday 15 Jan 2021 between 9:00 am and 10:30 am. Entry fee is $5.00 per painting entered.

Presentation & BBQ: Friday 22 Jan 2021 12:00 noon. Presentation is held at 12 noon in main Gallery 5 reception area and is followed by a BBQ in the back courtyard of Gallery 5.

Exhibition of Paintings: From Friday 15 Jan 2021 (afternoon) through Thursday 11 Feb 2021.

Collection of Paintings: Friday 12 Feb 2021 between 9:00 am and 10:30 am.
