The Feb 2022 monthly themed exhibition is Skies Above.

Please come and view the exhibition from Feb 11, 2022 through Mar 10, 2022 at Hervey Bay Art Society’s “Gallery 5” Art Gallery, at 5 Sandy St Urangan. Gallery 5 is open daily and entry is free.

This exhibition is in addition to a rotating collection of other art exhibitions always on display. All these exhibitions feature well priced pieces that would make great acquisitions or gifts.

The next monthly members competition is People in Action which will be held from Mar 11, 2022 through Apr 13, 2022.

Results

Results were announced at the awards presentation on Friday Feb 18, 2022 at noon in the foyer of Gallery 5. The judges for this competition were Erica Chapman and Mark Brose.

Key Dates

Delivery of Paintings: Friday Feb 11, 2022 between 9:00 am and 10:30 am. Entry fee is $5.00 per painting entered.

Presentation & BBQ: Friday Feb 18, 2022 12:00 noon. Presentation is held at 12 noon in main Gallery 5 reception area. The BBQ that is normally held in the back courtyard of Gallery 5, directly after the presentations, is cancelled this competition because of current covid restrictions/concerns.

Exhibition of Paintings: From Friday Feb 11, 2022 (afternoon) through Thursday Mar 10, 2022.

Collection of Paintings: Friday Mar 11, 2022 between 9:00 am and 10:30 am.
