The Aug 2022 monthly themed exhibition is Landscapes.

Please come and view the exhibition from Aug 12, 2022 through Sep 9, 2022 at Hervey Bay Art Society’s “Gallery 5” Art Gallery, at 5 Sandy St Urangan. Gallery 5 is open daily and entry is free.

This exhibition is in addition to a rotating collection of other art exhibitions always on display. All these exhibitions feature well priced pieces that would make great acquisitions or gifts.

The next monthly members competition is Flowers & Gardens which will be held from Sep 9, 2022 through Oct 14, 2022.

Results were announced at awards presentation on Friday Aug 19, 2022 at noon in the foyer of Gallery 5. The judges for this competition were Violetta Sandry and Mark Brose.

Key Dates

Delivery of Paintings: Friday Aug 12, 2022 between 9:00 am and 10:30 am. Entry fee is $5.00 per painting entered.

Presentation & BBQ: Friday Aug 19, 2022 12:00 noon. Presentation is held at 12 noon in main Gallery 5 reception area and is followed by a BBQ in the back courtyard of Gallery 5.

Exhibition of Paintings: From Friday Aug 12, 2022 (afternoon) through Thursday Sep 8, 2022.

Collection of Paintings: Friday Sep 9, 2022 between 9:00 am and 10:30 am.
