Violetta Sandry works in oil, pastel and watercolour.

After retiring from a teaching career of 33 years, she decided to try her hand at art.

Attending numerous workshops with well known artists, both in portraiture and landscape, Violetta realized she loved the challenge of capturing the essence and character in her portraits, as well as interpreting the beauty of landscapes.

Violetta’s hope is to stir some emotional response or feeling from the viewer.
