‘Ways of Watercolour’ Workshop Promotion’
Robin Hines is conducting a course of eight workshops about the Ways of Watercolour done in four workshops prior to Christmas and four after. These workshops will be teaching a wide variety of watercolour techniques.
To make payment easier the first four can be paid prior to starting and the second four after Christmas break.
All workshops are on Monday afternoons (12:30-3:30pm). There are positions for up to ten participants for this series of workshops that fall on 18th & 25th October, 1st & 8th November 2021. They will be suitable for intermediate watercolour artists or artists of other media who wish to learn about watercolours. The cost is a very reasonable $35 per session to paid which means the first payment is 4 sessions for $140 (a bargain for this level of teaching ).
Payments can be made at Gallery 5 and a list will be up on our notice board for interested members to add their name and receipt number. Remember it is the first ten to pay $140 and put their name on the list who will get to experience this series of workshops. Each participant then has the first choice to do the second four workshops early next year. If you are interested, act quickly. NB. Please ensure you have artist quality supplies for these workshops.
N.B. At this stage (as at Sep 13 2021) it looks like the first series of workshops (beginning Oct/Nov 2021) will be fully attended but check back here and on the Gallery 5 noticeboard for further classes that may be held in the future. A prospective sign up sheet for further classes is already available on the noticeboard with dates to be firmed up later.
For more detailed workshop information please read the ‘Ways of Watercolour’ information sheet below.
‘Ways of Watercolour’ Workshops – FREE DEMONSTRATION Monday Sep 13, 2021 (PAST)
To whet the appetite for the upcoming series of workshops by Robin Hines, a FREE DEMONSTRATION was put on at Gallery 5 on Monday 13th September 2021 at 12:30pm to see what ‘Ways of Watercolour ‘will be all about. This was well attended and helped clarify the course and got the attendees’ artistic juices flowing.
Thanks to Robin for holding this demonstration and to the president Mark Brose for helping to organise this.
