37th Annual Competitive Art Exhibition Awarded Artworks Display at Gallery 5
17 of Hervey Bay Art Society Members’ award winning artworks from the just concluded 37th Annual Competitive Art Exhibition are currently (until Thurs Sep 16, 2021) on display at Gallery 5. For those who could not get to Gatakers Artspace to visit the 37th Annual Competitive Art Exhibition, this is your chance to see the best hanging at Gallery 5. When combined with our monthly competition and the new general hanging artworks, the gallery is looking very dynamic. Come in to see for yourself – and spread the word.

Artwork Pickup (37th Annual Regional) from Gatakers Artspace
Thank you to all those who entered our 37th Annual Competitive Art Exhibition. Artworks can now be picked up on Monday Aug 16, 2021 or Tuesday Aug 17, 2021 between 9:30am – 3:30pm. The entry form specified Tuesday Aug 17, 2021 pickup only but Monday is now being offered as well. If you are a Hervey Bay Art Society member and received an award at the 37th Annual Competitive Art Exhibition then the art society would love to hang your award winning work on Friday Aug 20, 2021 as part of the usual General Hanging change-over.

Portrait Drawing Techniques Workshop with Pauline Adair – Sun Jul 4, 2021 – Sign Up Sheet now Available
Pauline Adair is the judge for the 37th Annual Regional Competitive Art Exhibition (2021). We are fortunate that while in Hervey Bay for this event she will be conducting a one day workshop on Sunday July 4, 2021 at Gallery 5. This workshop, by such a talented and experienced artist and tutor as Pauline, is not to be missed. If you wish to attend this workshop then please add your name to the sign up list on the Gallery 5 noticeboard.
